I'm an atmospheric scientist working at Climate Modeling Alliance at California Institute of Technology in the group of prof. Tapio Schneider. My research is focused on representation of aerosols, clouds and precipitation in numerical models of different scales. I'm enthusiastic about collaborative open source software development for science. I have experience in coding in Julia, Python and C++.
I got my PhD at the Institute of Geophysics, Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw. I worked in the Cloud Microphysics Group lead by prof. Hanna Pawlowska. Afterwards I was a postdoc at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the Atmospheric Physics and Weather Group.
In my free time I enjoy running, hiking and spending time in the outdoors. I also enjoy dancing lindy hop and cooking.
